Maiden convocation of Rayalaseema University

A large number of students present expressed disappointment over the absence of Governor ESL Narasimhan at the event organised in VJR Function Hall at Dinnedevarapadu, as the required facilities were not available.
Vice-Chancellor Narasimhulu advised the students to reach their pinnacle of glory by doing well in studies.
He said they should strive relentlessly for taking the university to the top.
The university had received applications from 21,843 students seeking degree certificates during 2010-15. Of the 6,800 successful PG students, 1,142 in absentia and 448 at the convocation, had sought degree certificates.
