Trader abducted, released

Kakinada: The abduction and release of a Rajasthani trader created sensation in otherwise peaceful city on Tuesday.

According to sources, the trader was abducted on Tuesday morning at about 9.45am by four unidentified men.

The kidnappers, who came on a four wheeler, abducted him at his office near Raja Tank, in front of the staff.

The panic stricken staff alerted the II town police and alerted the police.

CI Chaitanya Krishna rushed to the scene and started investigating into the case.

Sometime later, the trader reached his office and revealed that he was left in the outskirts of the city by the unknown people.

The police suspect that, the abduction and release of the trade was due to financial issues.
