New ASP takes charge
Abhishek Mohanty has taken charge as Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) from the outgoing ASP Annapurna Reddy here on Thursday. It may be mentioned here that Mohanty is the son of retired DGP AK Mohanty.
Chittoor: Abhishek Mohanty has taken charge as Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) from the outgoing ASP Annapurna Reddy here on Thursday. It may be mentioned here that Mohanty is the son of retired DGP AK Mohanty. Mohanty, who is an IPS officer of 2011 batch, underwent probation in Chittoor.
After probation, Mohanty worked as ASP at Dharmavaram in Anantapur district. The outgoing ASP was transferred and waiting for posting. Annapurna Reddy hails from Nalgonda district in Telangana State. However, she is interested to opt for AP cadre. In an informal chat with police officials, the new ASP exuded confidence of discharging his duties to satisfy people and higher officials.
“Chittoor is the place where I have undergone probation period. It would be easy for me to deliver better services under the guidance of District SP G Srinivas,” he added.
