CPI demands probe into Rohith’s suicide

Kakinada: CPI State unit secretary K Ramakrishna here on Tuesday demanded a thorough investigation into the suicide of University of Hyderabad’s research scholar Rohith Vemula.
He along with CPI members and Dalita Hakkula Porata Samiti activists burnt the effigy of religious fanatics here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that religious fanatic forces have been on the rise in the county, and accused them of claiming the life of Rohith.
He demanded an inquiry with the sitting judge to bring out as what had led to Rohith’s suicide. East Godavari unit CPI secretary T Madhu and large number of party activists were also present.
