The four-day 20th Congress of National Federation of Indian Women will begin here on Wednesday. Working president of the federation Gargi Chakravarthy, speaking to presspersons here on Tuesday, said that 700 delegates from 27 States and representatives from 10 countries would participate in the congress.

Working president of the federation Gargi Chakravarthy, speaking to presspersons here on Tuesday, said that 700 delegates from 27 States and representatives from 10 countries would participate in the congress.
She said the federation would discuss on the problems being faced by the working women, and demand 50 percent reservation for women in the legislative bodies. She said that unless women were empowered on all fronts there would be no end to their woes.
