Former Congress MLA Malladi Vishnu who was arrested in the adulterated liquor case was granted bail on Friday and released from District Jail in Vijayawada.
According to the Special Investigations Team (SIT), that is probing into the case has drawn up Malladi Vishnu's property in Guntur and Krishna districts that has amassed the wealth to Rs 600 crore. Among other things, Vishnu is said to own nearly 28 acres of land in Amaravati.
Malladi Vishnu is one of the accused in the adulterated liquor case where five people lost their lives after consuming illicit liquor from his family owned - Swarna Bar in Krishnalanka, Vijayawada last year.
