Anantapur: Collector Kona Sasidhar on Thursday asked officials to prepare plans for achieving double digit growth in the district. Reviewing the special package for achieving double digit growth, he asked officials of the Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture and Education departments, besides DWMA, DRDA and APMIC to prepare comprehensive plans within 24 hours. The plan works should benefit people on a permanent basis, Sasidhar stressed.
He wanted officials to also take up drought relief measures. Among those present were Joint Collector II Syed Khaja Mohiuddin, CPO Sudarshan, Project Directors of Dwma and DRDA Nagabhushanam and Venkateswarlu, Agriculture Joint Director Sriramamurthy, Sericulture Joint Director Aruna Kumari, GM of District Industries Centre Anand, Horticulture department DD Subbarayudu, DEO Anjaiah, DMHO Venkataramana, ICDS Project Director Zubeda Begum.
