Two toilets for women police inaugurated
District Superintendent of Police AK Ravikrishna and his wife Parvati Devi on Saturday inaugurated toilets for women police in the One Town and Taluk stations.
Kurnool: District Superintendent of Police AK Ravikrishna and his wife Parvati Devi on Saturday inaugurated toilets for women police in the One Town and Taluk stations.
Addressing the gathering, the SP said women police personnel and home guards were facing hardship on account of absence of toilet facilities in their stations. Hence orders have been issued to provide toilets in every police station.
Ravikrishna stated that he himself on behalf of the district police striving for the construction of lavatories. SP’s wife Parvati Devi described the launch of toilets in the two police stations as a welcome step.
She stated that the same facility was being created in other stations across the district. She thanked the district police for providing toilets which also benefit women complainants approaching the police. Among those present at the function were DSPs D V Ramanamurthy, J Babu Prasad, CIs B V Madhusudhana Rao, B R Krishnaiah, several SIs and women police personnel.
