Krishna ranks first in welfare schemes implementation

Vijayawada: Krishna district stood first among 13 districts of the state in implementation of various welfare schemes and administrative activities. The Telugu Desam government is allocating marks to the districts on the functioning of district administration. Krishna district secured 83.47 against 100 marks.

West Godavari with 82.19 marks and Anantapur with 78.3 marks stood second and third places. Marks were allotted on the functioning of departments of civil supplies, medical and health, revenue, rural employment scheme, single desk system of the department of industries, and Arogyasri etc.
