  • Says the TDP government is hoodwinking people and its lopsided policies failed to protect the interests of people

Commenting on budget allocations, he expressed doubts over the growth rate of Andhra Pradesh as the State government imposed a cut on several primary sectors including agriculture, irrigation, education and power sectors. The leader said that the State government budget figures is raising doubts on the growth rate of 10.9 per cent of the State.

He said that the government is keen on promoting brand image rather than concentrating on people's issues and assumed that the Central government is hesitating to allot funds for the State after seeing it’s growth rate and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's tours. He expressed surprise over the appointment of nearly 50 special advisors to the government and said there is no necessity of 50 advisors to rule 13 States.

Referring to change of hands of lands in the capital region he said that if the lands were purchased by the relatives of ministers or TDP leaders, then it's a constitutional violation as the leaders in position should not reveal the decisions of the government to their relatives or friends prior to the official announcement.

He said that the Chandrababu Naidu government has been hoodwinking people and the lopsided policies of the government failed to protect the interests of people. He added that TDP started using castes for political mileage and included them in election manifesto. As a result the government is now caught in a fix as all the castes started raising demands for allotment of funds. He said that the State government failed to attract industries in backward region of Rayalaseema and North Andhra.
