YSRCP MLA offered Rs 20 crore to join TDP
YSRCP MLA of Rampachodavaram, Vanthala Rajeshwari set an end to the rumours of her leaving the party to join the ruling Telugu Desam Party.
YSRCP MLA of Rampachodavaram, Vanthala Rajeshwari set an end to the rumours of her leaving the party to join the ruling Telugu Desam Party. Speaking to the reporters at the Assembly media point on Tuesday, Vanthala Rajeshwari revealed that she had been offered Rs 20 crore by TDP to switch sides but she had refused to leave YSRCP.
Stating that there is no question of leaving the party which made her an MLA particularly an ordinary woman like her, Rajeshwari said that only due to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, she got the opportunity and would remain YSRCP MLA until the end. The YSRCP MLA further said that she had joined politics only to serve the people and asked media to check the facts before publishing false news.
YSRCP MLA Giddi Eswari also refuted the claims of her shifting loyalties and said that TDP is unable to tolerate the popularity of YSRCP in the tribal areas further saying that no one would get aboard a sinking ship like TDP.
