Ravela hopes New Year will boost growth in State
Speaking on the occasion, he urged the poor to avail the benefits of the welfare schemes. He said that the government was trying to reduce economic imbalances. He conveyed Telugu New Year greetings to the people of the State.
Guntur: Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu wished rapid development in the State in the New Year and exhorted the people to maintain peace. He participated in Ugadi celebrations conducted by the district administration at a programme held at Sri Venkateswara Viganana Mandiram here on Friday.

District Collector Kantilal Dande wished that the State capital construction works will expedite in the New Year. He said that the government had taken steps to construct a world-class capital.
Joint Collector Cherakuri Sridhar said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was constructing a world-class capital with the people’s participation at Amaravati. He thanked the farmers who gave their lands for the construction of capital and extending cooperation.
MLC S Rama Krishna wished that literacy rate will improve in the State. Ambadipudi Satynarayana Sastry explained Durmikhi Nama Samvatsara rasi phalalu. ZP chairperson Shaik Janimun , DRO K Nagababu, RDO P Bhaskara Naidu were among those participated.
