2 arrested for lawyer’s murder
The police brought the two accused to Government Hospital for medical check-up. After the check-up, they produced the two accused before the Magistrate who in turn remanded the accused to judicial custody for 14 days.
Eluru: City police arrested two accused in the sensational murder of lawyer Palivela Dattatreya Ramananda Rayalu alias Royal (40) on Tuesday and produced them in a court.
It may be recalled here that Royal was brutally killed by four persons on April 4 at a refrigeration service centre shop in Agraharam. After criticism from various sections, in a dramatic move, the police showed the arrest of Vetla Naveen Murali (21) of Benerjipeta and Nauduri Srinvas alias Vasu (40) of Badetivari street, Powerpeta area. The police said the two accused were arrested at Eluru Railway Station area.

The police said the main accused, Gurajala Prabhudas, Puppala Dharmateja, Unumala Sattiyya of Benerjipeta and Pandu are still at large and some more suspects might be arrested shortly.
