30 sheep dead

Madanapalle (Chittoor): About 30 sheep were found dead in three villages in Peddamandayam mandal, bordering Kadapa district. According to information reaching here, the sheep deaths were reported in Dhanarajapalli, Veligantivaripalli and Chakalipalli.

However, government veterinary doctors, who examined the dead sheep in the villages, are yet to find out the exact reason behind the death of animals in three villages. Initially, it was thought that severe heat resulted in the death of sheep.

Later, poisonous substance or adulterated water also suspected as the reason for the death of sheep. The sheep farmers in the mandal were panicked, following the incident.
