Vijayawada: The three-day AP’s first Horticulture Show and Mango Fest at the sprawling campus of Andhra Loyola College has come to an end. Minister for Agriculture Prattipati Pulla Rao attended the valedictory of the event and appreciated the award winning mango farmers here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Pulla Rao said that the whole objective of conducting the exhibition was to create awareness on horticulture, showcasing new technologies thus bringing the farmers of the State under a single platform.
Interactive sessions, seminars and expo that were part of the programme were intended to benefit the farmers both theoretically and practically, he said.
Minister Kamineni Srinivas asked the members of Confederation of Indian Industries to come forward in setting up Food and Agro based industries.
