Almost 3.9 lakh quintals of groundnut seed was distributed so far and measures had been taken to ensure adequate stock of pesticides, he added. He further said that if rains delayed later, all efforts were taken wet the crop with the help of ‘water gun’. He assured that government always ready to stand by the farmers’ side.
