Vijayawada: Krishna District Collector Babu A said that employees who completed five years of service at same place would be transferred. He said that the transfers’ process will be conducted in a transparent manner.

Speaking to NGO association leaders here on Saturday, the Collector said that the transfer of those who completed three years service at same place would be made basing on their options and there should be no zero based transfer process. He said necessary guidelines were issued to department heads.

The Collector said that those who completed 3 years at same place should submit self appraisal form. He said 2,500 employees submitted the option forms so far against 14,000 employees in the district. NGOs Association State president P Ashok Babu said employees were ready to shift to Amaravati and the shifting would be completed by August 31. He informed the Collector over abnormal rental values in the city.

NGOs Association West Krishna president A Vidyasagar said that the cooperative and irrigation officials were insisting on zero service employees to submit option forms or else face disciplinary action. He said the officials were considering five years service at the same place though there was a break in service. NGO association leaders Iqbal, Chiranjeevi, Satyanarayana Reddy and M Sujata were present.
