​Kadapa: The Sri Venkateswara Engineering Colleges Group at Balaj Nagar, which runs two such colleges in Tirupati, opened another institution this year in the heart of the town. It proposes to start B Tech programmes from this academic year in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical and Civil engineering streams, with an intake of 60 students each.
The new college is launching a special training programme for placements from the first year itself, mini-projects during vacation, besides innovative and creative thinking student clubs to build leadership skills.
