He completed his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering stream and has been preparing for Civils exam in New Delhi. He appeared for a national-level exam for 60 vacancies in Indian Coast Guard in February this year and achieved all-India second rank. He was selected as Assistant Commandant and will be undergoing training in Kerala from June 24 in Naval Academy.

Nellore: District SP Vishal Gunni appreciated A Rajesh, son of a head constable, on being selected as Assistant Commandant for Indian Coast Guard. Rajesh hails from Agraharapet in Naidupet town. He is son of AYV Prasad Rao, who is working as a head constable in communications wing.

Rajesh, along with his father, met the Vishal Gunni on Wednesday. The SP appreciated his efforts and wished him to be a civil servant. Additional SP B Saratbabu and others were present.
