Tirumala: The pontiff of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Jayendra Saraswati, visited Tirumala temple to offer prayers on Sunday.
He said he offered prayers for the well being, prosperity and health of mankind at Srivari temple.
Jayendra Saraswati was accorded warm welcome at the temple entrance by TTD executive officer D Sambasiva Rao and accompanied him for darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Executive officer D Sambasiva Rao presented prasadam to the pontiff after having the darshan.
TTD Trust Board members P Hariprasad, Krihnamoorthy, temple deputy executive officer Kodandarama Rao and others were present.
