He along with company regional head of South India Praveen Thomas, AP and Telangana area manager CH Suresh visited capital city region exploring the opportunities to establish an industry that related to LED products.

Speaking to reporters at a press meet here on Monday, Dwivedi said State government’s policies on energy sector were very attractive and favourable to energy industry.

The manufacturing cost of LED products might be low if those companies set up units here because of the government’s industry-friendly policies and also transport facilities here were also useful in reducing expenditure, he said.

“There are good opportunities to LED industries in Andhra Pradesh as the people of the State are very interested in using such products,” Dwivedi Said.

“The company’s representatives will meet Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and discuss about our plans on setting up industry in Amaravati,” he said.

Explaining about Lumax Energy Solutions, he said the company was running 29 factories in six States and it had 70 per cent share in automobile sector in India with Rs 7,000 crore turnover.

“Our products are exporting to Latin America, Africa and some countries in Indian Sub-Continent,” Dwivedi said. They visited Amaravati on the invitation of P Krishna Mohan, Chairman of Prakriya company.
