“Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is very particular about the construction of the VUDA Children Arena as he is very enthusiastic about hosting the National Children Film Festival,’’ said VUDA secretary A Srinivasa Rao. Talking to this correspondent here on Monday, the secretary said that the Chief Minister is also planning to hold the International Children Film Festival if the National Festival evokes a good response.

He said an acoustics expert from Hyderabad has been hired to provide state-of-the-art sound system which would be on par with the international standards. “In all aspects, the auditorium would be one of the best in the country, and would be right choice for hosting any international event,’’ Srinivasa Rao said.

The first ever three-day National Children’s Film Festival was held at Siri Fort in New Delhi on November 14. With the cleanliness drive announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in keeping with his vision, CFSI has announced the theme of the festival as ‘Swachhta’.

The National Children’s Film Festival focused on Children’s films shot or made in India by Indian makers. Bollywood personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha participated in the festival.
