Complete road-widening works on time: Mayor

Vijayawada: Mayor Koneru Sridhar asked the officials to complete the ongoing road widening works in one town area as early as possible in view of Krishna Pushkaralu. He along with officials visited the Pushkaralu works at Chittinagar and KT Road on Monday. Speaking to the officials, he said the early completion of road widening work from Chittinagar to Milk Factory area was important as it was the major road for the devotees come from Myalavaram, G Konduru and other areas to enter the city for Krishna Pushkaralu.

He also inspected the Chittiyya park in Chittinagar and found the lack of playing equipment for children. The Mayor asked the officials to arrange playing equipment for children immediately and take measures to plant the saplings in the park.
