5-year-old dies of malaria in agency
The kid’s father brought Prameela to Rampachodavaram area hospital for treatment on Wednesday, but had taken her to a private hospital as there was a long queue outside government hospital.
Rampachodavaram: A five-year-old girl died of malaria in East Godavari agency area on Wednesday. Chedala Prameela Devi (5) of Devarapalli village under Maredumilli mandal had been suffering from malaria for the last few days.
The kid’s father brought Prameela to Rampachodavaram area hospital for treatment on Wednesday, but had taken her to a private hospital as there was a long queue outside government hospital.
She was diagnosed with malaria, and when they were going back to their home after taking medicines, the girl suffered from fits on the way. Then, she was taken to the area hospital where she died while getting treatment.
