BJP demands stipend for unemployed youth

​Vijayawada: BJP Yuva morcha national executive committee member N Ramesh Naidu demanded the AP government to fulfill its poll promise of providing monthly stipend to unemployed youth.

Speaking to media here on Monday, Ramesh said that even two years after coming to power, the TDP government did not fulfill one of its key promises that each unemployed youth would be given a sum of Rs 2,000 per month as allowance.

He also appealed to government to recruit employees through employment agencies. About 10 lakh youth have registered their names at employment offices across the State, but they were not given any job opportunities, he said.
