Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who is happy with the conduct of Pushkaralu had decided to continue the system even after the 12-day holy event. Interestingly, the technology will be taken over by police department after the event to make the State a crime-free zone.

While the Central Command and Control Centre established near the police parade grounds would continue in the same location, the two other centers currently operating from Municipal Corporation and Durga Ghat will be shifted to other places, as decided by the police. The government had engaged high-end drones and CC cameras to keep a vigil on the movement of the pilgrims and the facilities available at the ghats, pushkar nagars and the satellite bus stations.

The officials had engaged 25 drones with cameras each moving in the radius of 2 kilometers from the base station. The CC cameras too have proved to be success while keeping an eye on the crowd movement, cleanliness at the ghats, toilets and the crowd management at the bus stations. The CM himself sat these command and control centers and gave instructions to the staff on the cleanliness and crowd management.

He sent the reports about these security measures to engineering colleges in the State for analysis and feedback. As he got a positive feedback, Naidu has resolved to use these devices in Vijayawada city as well as in 29-capital villages. Even the temporary Secretariat building coming up at Velagapudi is likely to have one command and control center to keep an eye on the activities since its going become operational from October this year.
