Rajamahendravaram: Minister for BC Welfare and Exicse Kollu Ravindra expressed anger over YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy who is accused in 24 cases. He said that the government is urging the Centre for Special Category Status (SCS) and ruled out parting ways with the Centre.

He observed that it is very difficult to develop the State if funds were not received. He found fault with Jagan for criticising the government even after Centre’s assurance of giving funds. Stating that the State badly needs funds for development, he stressed on the need for cautious approach at this point of time.

Speaking to reporters along with Rajamahendravaram rural MLA Gornatla Butchaiah Chowdary he reiterated that BC Kapus political reservations would not be affected after Justice Manjunatha Commission’s report. He said that Kapus are being instigated by some people like Jagan and added that people will teach them a lesson.

He said that the Tuni incident is one of the incidents which were instigated by opposition YSR Congress and its party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy. Speaking on YSR party’s Eluru Yuvabheri, he said that why Jagan did not speak about Special Category Status when he was MP.
