12 hurt as tipper hits bus
In all, 12 persons, including drivers of two vehicles sustained injuries, when a tipper hit an RTC bus at Shyamalapuram village in L N Peta mandal in the district on Sunday.
Srikakulam: In all, 12 persons, including drivers of two vehicles sustained injuries, when a tipper hit an RTC bus at Shyamalapuram village in L N Peta mandal in the district on Sunday. According to sources, the tipper, which was proceeding towards Battili dashed against the RTC bus, which was coming from Battili at Shyamalapuram village.
Unable to control the speed, the driver of the tipper hit the bus in which both drivers P Kapileswar Rao and T Gowri Naidu received severe injuries and another 10 passengers of the bus were injured. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and registered a case.
