Tirupati: Terming the ensuing MLC elections as a battle between pro-corporate and pro-employee/teacher candidates, CITU State vice president P Ajay Kumar urged the middle-class employees to actively work actively for the success of PDF candidates.

Addressing a meeting of middle class employees from LIC, BSNL, Postal, Banking, TTD and other State and Central government institutions on Sunday, Ajay Kumar along with CITU district general secretary Kandarapu Murali said that in the context of the misdeeds of the ruling TDP reaching a peak, the employees should take the elections as a challenge and work overtime for voter enrolment and also later in the campaign for the resounding victory of V Balasubrahmanyam and Y Srinivasulu Reddy who were contesting for the teachers and graduate constituency MLC posts respectively, to curb the anti-employee approach of the Central and State governments.

Employees leaders including E Venkatamuni, Y Krishnakumar, Ramana, (LIC), YS Raju, Umapathi (BSNL),Sridhar (postal), Muniratnam Reddy (Banking), G Venkatesam, M Nagarjuna (TTD) and Naga Venkatesh (Universities) participated in the meeting.
