Kurnool: Veldurthy police retrieved two dead bodies from the Hundri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi Canal on Sunday. According to Veldurthy Sub-Inspector PTN Prasad, the bodies of a man and an infant were found floating in the water of the canal.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. While the man is aged around 35 to 40 years, the infant is a girl. The bodies have been sent to Dhone general hospital for autopsy. Police have registered a case and taken up investigation to solve the mystery behind the deaths.
