15 arrested for murder
Following a dispute between the two families over water sharing for their lands, Boya Thimmappa’s family members attacked Boya Nallanna with sticks and stones, injuring Nallanna. He died while being taken to Kurnool General Hospital on October 20. Basing on the complaint lodged by Boya Bazari, police registered a case and took up investigation.
Kurnool: The Kodmur police arrested 15 persons for their involvement in the murder of Boya Nalanna, a resident of C Belagal village. Presenting the accused before the media on Tuesday, Superintendent of Police Ake Ravi Krishna said that Boya Thimmappa and Boya Nallanna (32) were relatives and residents of C Belagal village of Kodmur mandal.

He died while being taken to Kurnool General Hospital on October 20. Basing on the complaint lodged by Boya Bazari, police registered a case and took up investigation.
On the directions of the SP, Kodmur Circle Inspector A Srinivasulu and his team comprising Sub-Inspectors Srinivasulu, Peeraiah and Krishna Murthy, arrested the accused at Yanagandla crossroads and seized the sticks and stones that were used during the attack. Ravi Krishna lauded the Kodmur CI and his team for arresting the accused.
Ravi Krishna urged the people to inform the officers at the nearest police station about their outstation trip so that police could keep an eye on their premises during night patrolling. He also advised the people to install CC cameras in their locality, which would help the police to track the culprits as many thefts have taken place in the city in recent times.
