Two Chennai residents hurt in road mishap

Tirupati: Two women pilgrims from Chennai injured in a mishap on the second ghat road to Tirumala on Thursday. According to police, the mishap occurred when the driver of the car in which the five-member group of pilgrims from Triplicane in Chennai were travelling, tried to overtake an APSRTC bus at 12th km point on the second ghat.

The injured Kavitha (57) and Sindh were admitted in SVRR Government General Hospital. A case has been registered.
