Post offices to remain open on Sunday
Chief Postmaster General of AP Circle Md Jaffar Sadik said that all the head post offices and sub-post offices in the State would remain open on Sunday for the benefit of people to exchange Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes.
Vijayawada: Chief Postmaster General of AP Circle Md Jaffar Sadik said that all the head post offices and sub-post offices in the State would remain open on Sunday for the benefit of people to exchange Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes.
Sufficient number of counters will be operationalised to avoid inconvenience to the people, he said. Sadik said the information about availability of cash for exchange purpose would be displayed on the notice board of respective post offices.
