Jana Sena supremo Pawan Kalyan is planning to hold the next meeting in north coastal Andhra Pradesh inspired by the success of November 10 Anantapur public meeting.
Hyderabad: Jana Sena supremo Pawan Kalyan is planning to hold the next meeting in north coastal Andhra Pradesh inspired by the success of November 10 Anantapur public meeting.
Having gone on record that he will contest the 2019 elections, Pawan Kalyan is carefully moving the pawns on the political chess board to strengthen the party. The strategy is to spend most of the time amidst people.
The likely venue of the next meeting of Jana Sena would be Vizianagaram. The Power Star is striving to get special status to Andhra Pradesh from the Centre.
He is preparing the blue print to hold meetings to explain masses on the benefits that would accrue to the state on account of the special status. It may be recalled that he vowed to hold the public meetings on this issue across the state.
Pawan exposed the failure of MPs and Union ministers to obtain special status to AP. He also did not spare the state government in his characteristic style to avoid criticism that he had targeted the Centre.
The Anantapur public meeting, compared to the earlier two meetings, was tremendously successful as his speech was very well received by the audience. He focused on local problems besides the issue of special status to AP.
Now that he had raised his voice on the problems of Rayalaseema, the next choice of Jana Sena is north coastal Andhra. According to highly-placed sources, the next venue for the meeting would be Vizianagaram. He had already directed the party activists and sympathisers to bring to his notice people’s problems in the region.
Arrangements are underway to hold the next meeting in Vizianagaram either in December or January as he is currently shooting for his next venture ‘Katamarayudu’. He is going to release the next schedule of the meetings after holding a meeting of important leaders of the party.
At the Vizianagaram meeting, Pawan is likely to touch crucial issues on the extent of implementation of assurances given in the AP State Reorganisation Act, extent of spending of funds allocated to Vizianagaram district, land acquisition for greenfield airport and the living conditions in remote villages of north coastal Andhra.
Pawan’s fans and Jana Sena activists are keen on how the Power Star would respond to north coastal Andhra’s problems.
