Two bodies retrieved fromHNSS Canal
The locals of Mallepalli village, who are working near the HNSS Canal, noticed dead bodies near the pumping station and they immediately informed to the police.
Kurnool: Two dead bodies have been found floating in the Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) Canal at Mallepalli village in Veldurthy mandal on Saturday. One among the body belongs to a woman which was found in a gunny bag.
The locals of Mallepalli village, who are working near the HNSS Canal, noticed dead bodies near the pumping station and they immediately informed to the police.
Dhone Circle Inspector Y Srinivasulu and his team rushed to the spot and retrieved the dead bodies from the canal. On examining the bodies, woman was killed by throttling her neck.
Both the deceased are aged about 35 to 40 years. The CI suspected that they might have been killed over a love failure or illegal affair.
The bodies were shifted at Kurnool General Hospital and preserved in mortuary so that relatives can identify the bodies. The police registered a case.
