Two women were brutally murdered by unknown persons in a broad daylight at Tigalvancha Forest area in Chintalapudi Mandal on Saturday.According to police, two women Puladasu Sita Mahalakshmi (30) of Gandi Gudem village in T Narsapuram mandal and Baigani Mangamma (35) of T.Narsapuram went to the cashew orchids in Teegalvancha village on Saturday morning.

Chintalapudi: Two women were brutally murdered by unknown persons in a broad daylight at Tigalvancha Forest area in Chintalapudi Mandal on Saturday.According to police, two women Puladasu Sita Mahalakshmi (30) of Gandi Gudem village in T Narsapuram mandal and Baigani Mangamma (35) of T.Narsapuram went to the cashew orchids in Teegalvancha village on Saturday morning.

Mangamma’s son Durga Prasad took these two women to the forest where the cashew orchids situated in a hilltop and after dropping them at the orchid he returned to his village. In the afternoon, he went to the orchids to pick up both women. However, as both women were not found there, he informed the matter to his father Satyanarayana. Both father and son started searching for them. They found the body of Mangamma on the hill top and the other woman Sita Mahalakshmi in a seriously injured condition.

Both immediately took them down from the hill. Meanwhile, Sita Mahalakshmi breathed her last.There were nail bites on Sita mahalakshmi’s body and both women were brutally beaten up on the heads with boulders and stabbed with knives. It is suspected that someone might have attempted rape on both and killed them. How many miscreants attacked them is not yet known. The police on information reached the spot. Jangareddigudem DSP J Venkatrao visited the spot. The police are investigating the possibility of old rivalries.
