Associate Executive Director of SEAMO Terry Chew said that students of Class-V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI and XII are eligible for the Olympiad and the duration of the exam is two hours with multiple choice questions in mathematics.He said with its presence in 11 Asian countries, including Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Jakarta, Brunei, Timor-Leste and Philippines, the SEAMO is now providing an opportunity for Indian students to test their mathematical talent.

The top 0.025 per cent of participants will win gold medal with certificate of participation, the next one per cent will get silver medal with participation certificate and the next two per cent will get bronze plated medal and certificate while all other participants will be given certificate of participation, he added. The registration fee is Rs 1,150 for Class V to IX and Rs 1,300 for Class-X, XI and XII, inclusive of service tax and details can be had from http:// India@seamo-official.org.
