He participated in various programmes in the western part of the district on Sunday. Later, speaking to the media in Madanapalle, he said, the bifurcation of the state was unethical and humiliating to the people of AP. The government started its journey without the capital and severe funds crunch. Yet, with the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the government is crossing all hurdles one after another and the state is progressing well, the Minister said.

The government has increased the pensions from Rs 200 to Rs 1,000 and for disabled and the pension amount has gone up to Rs 1,500 from Rs 500. The district will achieve 100 per cent Cement Concrete (CC) roads if another 1,200 km works were completed. Amarnath Reddy disclosed that the World Bank has said that the AP is no.1 in attracting investments. While the target is 21 days for giving all approvals for a new industry, the government is doing it within 10 days.

Saying that investors will choose a place where the find all the basic requirements, the Minister said that they cannot insist them to start up any industry at a particular place. However, when any investor comes up with proposals to invest in western parts of the district, the government would welcome it. The food park in Valmikipuram will be inaugurated soon, he assured.

He also inaugurated the Women and Child welfare building at Madanapalle built at a cost of Rs 53 lakh. He called upon Anganwadis to provide the nutritious food to the pregnant women. Former MLC Naresh Kumar Reddy and former MLA Dommalapati Ramesh were present.

Earlier, the Minister also participated in the Nava Nirmana Deeksha at Nimmanapalle. He said the government has allocated Rs 25,000 crore in three years for repayment of farm loans. The input subsidy will be credited into the accounts of the farmers in another two weeks. The government has sanctioned 40 km CC roads in the mandal, he said.

By completing Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi, all the tanks and check dams will be linked to it to get water. Sub Collector Vetri Selvi also participated in the programme. Amarnath Reddy inaugurated AP residential school for girls in Valmikipuram constructed at a cost of Rs 15 crore. It was established in five acres with SC, ST sub plan funds.
