Opposition spreading lies on diversion of Godavari water
Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy said that the Opposition parties were deliberately indulging in a misinformation campaign on Godavari water diversion to Krishna delta.The Minister who participated in a series of development initiatives in Ramakuppam mandal in Chittoor district on Friday addressed different meetings.

He reiterated that the diversion of Godavari waters through Pattiseema to Krishna delta was to spare more waters from the river from Srisailam dam to Rayalaseema area and urged the people of Rayalaseema not be misled by the Opposition trying to create aspersions on the diversion of Godavari waters to Krishna delta.He asserted that the works on the Handri-Niva and Galeru-Nagari projects in Chittoor district gathered steam and were going on as per schedule for completion.
