Guntur: The YSR Congress Party on Saturday released a book titled 'Emperor of Corruption' alleging rising corruption in Andhra Pradesh under TDP rule.
YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the book on the first day of party's national plenary in Guntur today. Speaking on the occasion, Jagan alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was behind Rs 3.75 lakh crore corruption in AP and Rs 1 lakh crore out of it happened in Amaravati alone.
Jagan said that YSR would always remain in the hearts of Telugu People. He recalled how YSR had always cared for the poor and downtrodden. The people are waiting for Rajanna Rajyam as they knew the difference between YSR and Chandrababu's rule, he said.
He began his speech terming the party workers and leaders his family and welcomed them with heart-touching greetings. He reminded that this Saturday was his father and late Dr YSR’s 68th birth anniversary. He said years after his demise, YSR is still a Peddayana and a family member for every Telugu. He said the people still remember YSR fondly.
“Many CMs have come and gone. But, YSR is different. Though he ruled for just five years and three months, he managed to implement revolutionary schemes and touched every family. He said that everyone from elders to youth, from rural to urban, from men to women, liked YSR and every one waiting for the return of YSR regime,” he said.
YS Jagan said the party would pass 20 resolutions during the Plenary. He ended his speech with a fervant and affectionate greeting to every Avva Tatha, every Akka Chellemma and every Anna Tammudu.
Earlier in the day, Jagan, along with other family members, paid floral tributes to his father and late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy on his 68th birth anniversary at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya in YSR Kadapa district.
