The location of the park is another plus point as devotees visiting bathing ghat in the vicinity also make a visit to the park. It is also close to busy Pundit Nehru Bus Station and near Durga temple. Because of these factors, the visitors rushing to the park is no surprise. But the lack of attractive spots so far made visitors disappointed.

The civic chief, J Nivas, directed the officials to ensure play equipment for the children visiting the park. He also instructed them during his visit to the park on Sunday that greenery should be improved. He made some suggestions for the park development. He wanted entrance of the park should be illuminated.

He enquired the officials on repair works of musical fountain. He asked them to plant various varieties of saplings and trim them properly so that they look attractive and beautiful. He directed the officials to remove weeds and thorny shrubs apart from keeping the park clean and green. He also wanted some improvements in the toilets. The damaged play equipment of children should be replaced with good condition equipment, he instructed the officials.

Earlier, Commissioner made a visit to Raghavaiah Park located on Bandar Road. He inspected water fountain works and instructed for improvements. He had a glance at the installation of children playing equipment. He wanted the officials to arrange vertical garden at the entrance. Besides greenery, playing equipment must be painted to attract children, he directed.
