Kurnool: Launching a tirade against YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy for using unparliamentary language against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister and revenue minister KE Krishna Murthy said the Opposition leader had lost mental balance and was using foul language in a state of insecurity and due to fear of losing bypoll in Nandyal. He said Jagan had unwittingly revealed his inner fears during August 3 public meeting.

Stating that Jagan had revealed his true colours through his nasty statements, the minister warned the people of Nandyal should know that they even they would not be safe if they voted his party. “His words clearly tell what kind of mental state Jagan is in,” he said at a press conference at the TDP office here on Sunday.

Accusing Jagan of hell bent on grabbing power by hook or crook, Krishna Murthy compared him Hiranyakashipudu and demon Bakasurudu and said that corruption reached to its peak during YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s rule.

Krishna Murthy said factionism had started from Jagan’s family and he has inherited it from his forefathers. “Waving slippers at former prime minster PV Narasimha Rao and dethroning of N Janardhan Reddy were a part of Jagan’s father’s legacy.

Jagan is committing mistakes one after another. If he does not correct them, he has to taste the ire of Nandyal voters. Jagan and his accomplices are travelling in a sinking ship like Titanic. He is an accused in 11 cases and at any time he has to serve the sentence,” he said.

The minister said the issue of making Nandyal a district would be considered. He also said setting up of Arya Vysya Corporation was under consideration a decision would be taken soon.

On Ayesha Meera murder case, Krishna Murthy said Satyam Babu’s arrest was a conspiracy and it was the TDP which had strived for his acquittal. We have also constituted Special Investigation Team for a transparent inquiry into the case, he added.

Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy, reacting strongly to Roja’s comments about the dress sense of tourism minister Bhuma Akhila Priya, said Akhila Priya wears decent dresses like kurta and salwar kameez unlike Roja who wears miniskirts and obscene dresses. “Now she may have retired from movies or would have become too fat for such dresses, otherwise she was accustomed to wearing dirty dresses,” he said.

TDP district president and Kurnool Urban Development Authority chairman, Somisetti Venkateshwarulu, Kodumuru MLA, Mani Gandhi and other party leaders were also present.
