Youth told to come up with innovative ideas

He was the chief guest in the concluding-day session of a three-day training programme on Internet of Things (IoT) organised by Innovation Society at SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram, on Wednesday, Suryanarayana said that four incubation centres have been set up in Tirupati, Anantapur, Kakinada and Visakhapatnam.
In Tirupati centre, American experts are imparting training to students in the name of XLR-8, while in Visakhapatnam, China’s top telecom company GT Soft would impart training to youth. He said if youth come forward with innovative ideas, the government would extend financial assistance ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 5 crore for each new product.
He said youth should utilise the opportunity to produce new products and added the government had already prepared a plan in this regard. He suggested the students to register at the incubation centres to explore their innovative ideas. College technology centre head N Gopalakrishnamurthy presided.
College Principal Dr G Pardhasaradhi Varma said new products have been produced in the college’s incubation centre were introduced into the market. D Kavya, Director of Bengaluru’s IB Hubs, vice-president V Sesha Sai also spoke.
College Principal Pardhasaradhi Varma and Undavalli Suryanarayana have given away certificates to the students who participated in the training programme and released the incubation centres’ brochures prepared by Innovation Society for youth.
