Four students selected for national handball tourney
Handball Association secretary Ramanjaneyulu said that four athletes from Kurnool district were selected to play in sub-junior National Handball Championship to be held in Haryana.
Kurnool: Handball Association secretary Ramanjaneyulu said that four athletes from Kurnool district were selected to play in sub-junior National Handball Championship to be held in Haryana.
Ramanjaneyulu appreciated the athletes at a programme held at Sports Authority Stadium on Sunday. The secretary said that K Gopi, Gadilingappa, G Uday and Akhil were selected for the National Handball Championships.
He said that these athletes have shown outstanding performance at a State-level handball competition held at G Kodur of Krishna district on September 2 and 3. Kurnool has bagged the first position at the State-level handball championship competitions, he stated.
