Anantapur: On the occasion of World Pharmacists Day, several programmes were organised at JNTUA-Oil Technology and Pharmaceutical Research Institute (OTPRI) on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, OTPRI Director and Professor KB Chandrashekar explained about the importance of pharmacists.
He advised the students to take part in such type of programmes. Professors and students had also give speeches on the prominence of pharmacists. Elocution, essay writing and drawing competitions were conducted on the occasion. Chandrashekar and senior chemical engineer Dr NBL Prasad handed over awards to the students, who excelled in competitions.
