In the memorandum, it was also mentioned that 200 Telangana-based teachers have been working in Andhra Pradesh and they too should be shifted to their native state to discharge their duties without facing any issues. Speaking to The Hans India, Jeevan Kumar, a teacher working in Telangana, said, “There are several issues we have been facing.

One of such is health cards issued by Telangana government are not being accepted in Andhra Pradesh and in result our family members have been failing to get health care facility.”

“As 26 BC castes of Andhra Pradesh have been named as OC castes by Telangana government, our children have been unable to get the reservations provided as per the Constitution,” the memorandum stated.

All the Andhra-native teachers who have been working in Telangana sought HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao to look into the matter and take action at the earliest, the teachers requested. Responding on the matter, it was learnt that the HRD Minister had assured to take up the matter with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and address the issue.
