National Highway widening works inspected

Madanapalle: District Collector PS Pradyumna has inspected the 4-lane national highway widening works from Madanapalle to Piler and Madanapalle to Palamaner on Wednesday.

He along with Sub Collector Vetri Selvi visited the spot at Tarigonda Vengamamba Circle. The Collector said, the widening works from Madanapalle to Piler have been almost completed and steps are being taken not to disturb the houses in BN Reddy Colony of Kondamarri Panchayat in Madanapalle rural mandal.

In any unavoidable situation, if any house has to be removed they will be paid compensation and sought people’s cooperation, he urged. In Madanapalle to Palamaneru stretch, out of 54 km already 18 km widening works were completed and Pradyumna instructed the NHAI officials to complete remaining works without any delay. Madanapalle Tahsildar Ranga Swamy, Surveyor Krishna Murthy and NHAI officials were present.
