Painter held on rape charge
A girl studying Intermediate was raped by a painter. Though the incident took place two days ago but it came to light on Friday when the parents lodged a complaint with police. The accused taking the advantage of the girl’s parents are out of station, raped the girl.

According to the police, the accused N Mohan Rao (22) known to the victim’s family and he is residing at Arilova Colony in the city. The accused took the girl to his home and raped her. Later, he took the girl to his friend’s house and again raped her.
On Thursday, the girl told the parents about the incident. The parents lodged a complaint with police and in turn, they registered a case. The victim was sent to KGH for medical examination. Police said that the accused was taken into custody and probe is going on.
