Vijayawada: CPM state secretary P Madhu wrote a letter to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu requesting him to take action against film director Ramgopal Varma for his derogatory comments against communists during television debates over his controversial web movie GST.
He asked the CM to order the police department to arrest Varma for his comments. He said that the police did not take action against Ramgopal Varma even as several women had lodged complaints against him.
Taking a strong exception to the comments of the film director, Madhu found fault with Director General of Police for not acting on several complaints lodged by women against Ramgopal Varma.
