Jaggaiahpet ex-MLA dies
Jaggaiahpet former MLA Raja Vasireddy Rajya Lakshmamma died on Thursday night in Chennai. She was wife of the late Raja Vasireddy Rama Gopala Krishna Maheswara Prasad, Muktyala zamindar. She is survived with three daughters and a son. Lakshmammais daughter of Challapalli Raja.KCP Group director V Indira Dutt is her daughter.

The former MLA and her husband spent crores of rupees for construction of Nagarjuna Sagar dam and strived for development of Jaggaiahpet town and several surrounding villages. She was lifetime trustee for Muktyala and Vedadri temples.
According to relatives, Lakshmamma funeral will be conducted in Muktyala on Sunday. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also expressed condolences to the death of Rajya Lakshmamma. Naidu said that people would never forget the services of Rajya Lakshmamma.
